Savaterre
About
Our wines are the deliberate result of traditional winemaking. This allows the characteristics of the vineyard and vintage to express themselves fully. The vineyard is close planted, ultra low yielding. Grapes are hand picked. Fermentation is by indigenous yeasts. The wine is matured for approximately two years in the best French oak barriques. This adherence to natural, unhurried wine making, results in wines with increased intensity of aroma, flavour, texture and length. Our wine is included in the Langtons Classification of Australian Wine and can be enjoyed in some of Australia's best restaurants. They can also be enjoyed, by those lucky few, in Emirates First Class.
